Setup
Before users can begin using BioGlyph in earnest, several tables need to be set up, in a controlled manner, based on an organization’s needs. These include: Targets, Therapeutic Area and Users
Target List
Users (e.g., Admins and Superusers) are encouraged to adapt the provided list of therapeutic Targets with the organization’s targets of interest. An optional description of each Target may also be provided.

Users create a new target and enter in the Target Name and Description

Therapeutic Areas
Users are also encouraged to expand or modify the list of available Therapeutic Areas based on their pipeline.

Create a Therapeutic Area by entering in a Name and Description

Component

Technologies
Inside of the Building Blocks Page, users will find the full list with Building Blocks generated in BioGlyph across all Projects. Technologies page where a library of Protein Technologies is made available. These technologies are composed by set of mutations that can span multiple components. Users are able to create their own proprietary technologies as well.

To create New Technology, choose the Component Type, Species, Technology Type and Isotype. Then create an Alias for your technology and enter a Description followed by the mutation type.

Choose a mutation type (Substitution, Deletion or Insertion) followed by the Residue Number. Then choose the Mutant Residue for each position.
